This will probably be my final upgrade for my 2014 build. Currently running GTX 770s in SLI and been happy with it since 2015. Monitor is an ASUS 144Hz for 1080p gaming. I know the 2060 Super is a little overkill for 1080p gaming but I figure when I do get a new rig (probably 1-2 yrs out) it should be fine for starters. So a bit of future-proofing is in mind. But its not cheap right now at $400 bucks. What do you guys think?

Other current specs:
i7 4790K
16GB RAM

(and Yes... Red Dead Redemption 2 is making me do this LOL) :)

RTX 2060 Super is just barely above Nvidia recommended specs for RDR2 1080p@60FPS High settings gaming.
So yeah. That's what you need to play it.

Based on that link and other benchmark videos/articles the 2060 Super is fine for 1080p on high settings. Heck I consider it still playable right now with a mix of medium and high settings on my 770s. Doesn't bother me at all if its not a constant 60+FPS. As long as it stays above 40 im groovy.
