I recently bought a RTX 2060 super 8gb to upgrade from my very old GTX 770 2gb.
I only play Destiny 2 right now and with my GTX 770 I couldn't get over 60 FPS while playing some activities. But now with my RTX 2060 i don't feel that much of a difference. I barely get over 70 FPS ever in Destiny 2 and often don't even get over 60 FPS which is very annoying. I thought I would be able to stay over 100 FPS constantly. I feel like my i7 3770 3.4GHz can be the problem but I read somewhere that it's a perfect match with the RTX 2060. My CPU is att 100% constantly when playing Destiny 2 and maybe it's a bottleneck? My GPU is at 100% too but that's good right? It means it's performing to it's fullest?
All specs of my PC:
CPU - i7 3770 3.4GHz
GPU - Rtx 2060 super 8gb
16gb RAM with dual channel memory
500w PSU
SSD disk (Destiny 2 isn't installed at the SSD. Only windows)
Does anyone have a clue of what can cause my RTX 2060 to perform so badly? I should be able to have over 100 FPS constantly if everything waw working fine.
