I would suggest the RTX 2070 as that extra 2GB of VRAM is going to become more and more important as the years come. Nvidia in the past has seemed to stretch how much VRAM a GPU needs for how much performance it has. For example my GTX 770 from 2013 in reference form would only have 2GB of VRAM, but thankfully I bought the 4GB version because games such as GTA V released in 2015 use 3.5GB at 1080p!

Why would you even mention the word bottleneck. Also it seems everyone is confused about bottleneck and what it actually means in real world performance.
Also by the time the 3000 series comes out, you probably want the x570 mobo over a dated b450
Also Founders Edition are great if you like noise and unreliability :)

Gotcha. Yeah it's a gorgeous card!!

Yeah there are better cards out there, but the FE cards aren't that bad.

I agree, you'll want a 500 series motherboard over 400 series. Makes no sense if your waiting to build your rig until Ryzen 3000 comes out to get a older gen board.
ok ill look into it! but tehyll still be am4 chips, also no release date on 500 sries yet, no teasers unlike amd 3000 series, so you sure they r coming out?

I've been saying this and will say it again: the RTX 2070 is overpriced compared to the 2060. It does not offer performance worth it's price over the 2060, they're both based on the same TU106 die anyway. Sure the 2070 has 2gb more VRAM, that however isn't gonna make the 2070 outlast the 2060.
