So I never had any problems with my old graphics card (GTX 980, exact one can be found in the list above), but I got a new RTX 2070 Super graphics card (exact one can be found in the list above) and now my computer boots up to a black screen which just says "PLEASE POWER DOWN AND CONNECT THE PCIe POWER CABLE(S) FOR THIS GRAPHICS CARD." If I switch out my RTX 2070 Super with my old GTX 980, everything boots up just fine. So I have no idea why my RTX 2070 boots to this black screen. I used the 8-slot adaptor that came with my RTX 2070 Super, and plugged both of the 6-slot cables (I think they're the PCIe cables, formerly (on the GTX 980) both would be connected to two separate 6-slot sections rather than one 8-slot section) into it so I only have a single "section" (there's a 6-slot section, and a 8-slot section) plugged in. It looks like this ( View: https://i.imgur.com/gHakdAa.jpg
). I hope I explained it good enough.
