I could find laptops with acceptable prices having RTX 2070 and most recently RTX 3060. After watching some benchmarks I am not quite sure what is the best option for the GPU. CPU is also a concern and the laptops I am interested in, the one with RTX 2070 has Intel Core i7-10750H and the laptop with RTX 3060 has Intel Core i7-10870H. Taking in consideration prices are fairly similar and both have almost the same SSD hard drive. Which one would you prefer?

10750h = 6 cores 10870 = 8 cores

3060 is better unless it's an ultrabook (g14 etc) so most likely 3060

do note if you prefer playing fps esports games (like csgo, r6 siege etc) I would say to buy laptop with mux switch or advanced optimus if any one of the product you mentioned have it(note:- If u consider using laptop screen for gaming. if you use external monitor this dosent matter.)
Next check the wattage of the gpu:- There are rtx 2070 and 3060 with different wattage so if you consider an Rtx 3060 with max q to a max p rtx 2070 there will be a huge lead for rtx 2070.

Thank you for your replies. Are the specs descriptions usually reliable as for which gpu version "normal" or "max q" has the laptop? I am concerned about RTX 2070, I don't know if RTX 3060 max q even exists. If specs don't mention anything about max q, can we asume the laptop doesn't have the max q version?

I want it mainly to play some Total War titles: Empire, Napoleon, Shogun 2, Rome 2, Rome 1 Remastered. If able to maintain reliable and good fps: Attila, Thrones of Britannia and if still able (I don't expect to do so) Three Kingdoms, Troy.
