Hello, i got my 2070 Super like 2 hours ago and since then i can't get it to work properly.

First of all my specs:
i7-4790k
MSI Z97 Gaming 5 MB
16 GB RAM DDR3
Gigabyte 2070 Super
Corsair 750W PSU

So it boots just fine no artifacts and crashes, as soon as i get to the Win login screen my screen goes haywire and crashes like 3times/second.

Heres what i tried:
  1. Switching monitors (4k to my old 1080p one)
  2. Switching from DP to HDMI
  3. Switching GPU outputs
  4. Re-Inserting it into the PCIe Slot
  5. Switching PCIe Slots
  6. Using two 12v Cables from my PSU to connect the 6&8 pin
  7. Re-Installing Windows
  8. Re-Installing NVIDIA drivers with a DDU cleanup in safe mode first
Whenever i switch back to my old GTX 980 everything works just fine, no blackscreens or flickering.
I gotta say tho that the 2070 doesn't "glide" into the PCIe slot as smoothly as the 980, im sure tho that it's properly seated in the slot.

Right now im out of ideas what do to. The card was bought on amazon warehosue labeld as "Very good" quality, now i might think the guy who had it before me returned it because of this exact reason. I had a 2060 installed yesterday from a friend and this one worked just fine, im not sure if the GPU itself is faulty.

Heres a video of it:
