Sorry guys for my terrible english from google translator.

I have a problem related to the frequency of my GPU.
Searching the internet a lot, YouTube, I could see that most people with the RTX 2070 Super in games, run at 1980MHZ, 1950MHz. It seems to me that it works at a lower frequency always, around 1905MHz and sometimes at maximum 1920MHz. The driver is updated and the video card is new.

What could be affecting this relative lack of performance on my GPU? Or am I wrong and is this normal?

Solution
The stock boost speed on an rtx 2070 super is 1770mhz.

Anything over 1900mhz is a fairly heavy overclock.

There's nothing wrong with your card, if you've not overclocked yourself thats a very high clocked card out of the box, most people will be pushing theirs to the limit overclocking which tends to be around 1950mhz on a lot of cards

OK thanks.

I am new to all this, and I am in a paranoid phase. Always worried with clocks, frequencies and FPS.

Is it bad for the graphic card to slightly change its frequencies in MSI Afterburn? Core Clock and Memory Clock. Taking care of the temperature of course.

If it boosts to that then it's designed to, galax cards have always been my nvidia card of choice, they're rock solid component and build quality wise.

You hav no worries there, just enjoy your gaming and forget about ingame monitoring is my advice.
