Question Rtx 2070 Super overheats in some games & FPS becomes very low ?

Hello, i have a new built consist of Ryzen 5 3600 & RTX 2070 super. The game GPU works well in Valorant and Tekken 7 but it overheats in Apex legends, pubg lite and some other games. The temp went to 87C and so the performance drops. On normal temp my fps in apex is 140+ but after few minutes of gaming at 87C it drops to 60-80 fps. Please help!

Need to provide more info than that...
We don't know what the chassis is
Don't know what the fan setup is like
Don't know how old the card is
Don't know when the last time it was cleaned/dusted
Don't know the exact model of 2070 Super
Things like that.

These cards are temperature sensitive. The cooler they run, the higher the sustained boost clocks will be - bar power limits.
