[SOLVED] RTX 2070 Super Power Requirement

I have a 650w psu and the recommended psu is 650w.
Does this mean i'm fine, or do I need more for extra component headroom?

Go into your system builder link.
Look at the cpu on your list. Then go across to the buy button and look up at the 'estimated wattage'.
Add like 50w or so for overclocking headroom.
Compare estimated wattage to current psu.

Nvidia exaggerates a little for safety reasons.

Don't worry I have my OS on an SSD. I just haven't updated this list with the recent things I added to the build since I built it.
And 490w is the total.

Gotcha.
You've got plenty of headroom. Look at the actual power draw of the reference card: 215w.
The overclocked AIB models are going to draw a little more, but still nothing your current psu couldn't handle.
