Hey all

We’ve got 2 gaming rigs in our house at the moment, one with a Ryzen 3600 cpu and RTX 2070 Super Gaming OC and the other, which I am currently about to build, that has a Ryzen 5600x cpu and an RTx 3060 Ti. The rest of the specs are the same on both - including both having a 2560x1440 monitor.

My question is, would the new build, with the 5600x and 3060 ti, perform better then the other gaming at 2560x1440? As we’ve already got the parts, it doesn’t matter if the improvement isn’t that much of a jump - we basically just want the better performing rig to go in the main room where it will be used more for gaming and photoshop/indesign stuff.

I’ve had a bit of a gander around but couldn’t see anything so apologies if this has been asked before. I was also curious to hear what the general consensus was.

cheers

Solution
The Ryzen 5600X and RTX 3060 Ti combo performs better. The 3060 Ti is already as good if not better than the 2070 Super and the 5600X is definitely better than the 3600.
