They are the new gaming performance kings but their performance increase over the 1080 & 1080Ti is not enough in my view to justify the heavy price hike. The price/performance ratio has taken a big step backwards.

Yeah, the prices are completely insane for the performance increase.

The GTX 1080Ti is the smart buy now until they run out of them.
