Hello there.

So I have a rather interesting problem that customer service was absolutely clueless about.

Alright..

So I just bought and installed an all new RTX 2080 from Asus. It is not overclocked other the factory clocks from Asus. I came from a GTX 980 Ti before and there was no issue there. After I installed the new GPU programs such as Maple 2018 has become really slow and my screen has started to flicker AFTER I have played and quit a game. If I start Crysis 3 and then stop it after a while my desktop begins to flicker and it is both my screens (This does also happen If I play WoW). It doesn't do it during the game, but when I have quit it. It does it a lot if I move windows around on the screen and if I don't only about once every 5-6 sec. (I have a video if it if it is needed) I am running a i7-7700k with a Z270-F motherboard from Asus and 16 GB 3000 MHz RAM. I am using a 720 W PSU. The flickering stops if I pull out the DP cable and put it back in until I start a new game as far as I can see. Customer service wants me to return it, but I have been waiting for this specific card for about 3 weeks, so I'd rather not return it if I could get a quick fix for it. My CPU is running a 4,8 GHz (Around 14% Overclock), but that shouldn't do anything to the GPU. If any of you has any ideas or questions feel free to comment and I will reply asap.

oh and I am using a G-SYNC Screen, but doesn't change anything if I fiddle with the options.

I'd take it back. They are just too expensive not too. You should be able to swap it out with the vendor and not even go through an RMA process if you just got it.

You can also try a clean uninstall of the 980ti drivers. Sometimes just deleting them is not enough. Use the DDU tool below in safe mode to remove all the drivers. Then boot back up and get the current drivers from Nvidia.

I'll give the drivers a shot again
