[SOLVED] RTX 2080 Super over RX 5700 XT?

Hello, i am planning to build a new PC and i currently have a Sapphire Pulse RX 5700 XT. I was thinking about if it's worth getting a RTX 2080 Super or even a RTX 2080 Ti, but the price gets way over the top. I already have the PC parts picked up but i would like to hear your opinion about if it's worth getting any of these two GPU's instead of keeping my actual GPU.

The target is to play at 1080p or 1440p at 60 FPS (or more, 40-50 FPS is still acceptable) at the highest quality settings (maybe not graphic intensive ones). That on a 144hz monitor.

I plan on playing games like AC Oddyssey, the Witcher 3, Forza Horizon 4, Control, Red Dead Redemption 2, Metro exodus, and other games like that.

My future Setup shall be the following

• SSD M.2: PNY CS2130 1TB SSD
• MotherBoard: MSI X470 Gaming Plus Max
• Case: Nfortec Krater
• PSU: Tacens Ars Gaming Zeus 750W 80 Plus Silver Modular (it will stay like that until i find a better one)
• CPU: Ryzen 7 3700X
• RAM: Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro DDR4 3200 PC4-25600 32GB
• Liquid Cooling: Corsair H100i RGB Platinum

Edit: Maybe i will play at 4k but that will not be all the time. Mostly i will play in 1080 or 1440

I would struggle to justify the moderate performance boost for the cost knowing the 2080 Super & 2080Ti will probably be superseded in the next 3-4 months. It’s fair to expect the 3080 to outperform the 2080Ti at significantly less cost.

We can't be 100% sure about that. So for now, i will be staying with what we have in the market nowadays. Until i get the money to buy everything, i don't know if these GPUS would've been released or not.

If 1080p solid 60fps at High Settings in Most game.. GTX 1650 is solid choice temporary. until new nvidia/amd come out.

I have a RX 5700 XT, there's no point on downgrading to a GTX 1650

Just cant wait AMD release their new gpu. So I can get 5700XT at cheaper price maybe at 300$. non XT will prolly be around 280$
