[SOLVED] RTX 2080 Super won't display HDMI and DP connected monitors

Hi I have recently got a new monitor with Gsync for my RTX 2080 super and I have tried to use my old monitor as a second monitor but when I connect them only the display port monitor will work and if I rebot the pc only the HDMI monitor will work. Should my gpu be able to run both or does it not work. The only way I can get both monitors on is both of them connected to HDMI but then Gsnyc won't work due to the limitations of HDMI. It's like the GPU does not even know that there is another monitor connected. Also for some reason when my system boots to the windows login screen the monitor will go black and then it will be on again. It did this with both my new and old monitor hopefully somebody can help thanks

3 Display port mode was activated so only one HDMI port would work so just had the HDMI cable plugged in to the wrong port.
