If your due for a upgrade I'd snag it as it's actually cheaper then any 2080's on PCPer and on top of it, it's a Strix which are typically the more expensive models.

And I'm talking about general STRIX sales, not other manufacturers. I'm aware an MSI RTX 2080 is up for 690$. I'm just an ASUS shill.

I've got a 1060 3GB which is a cheap EVGA 1 fan model with no backplate. It constantly throttles and reaches 85C. It'd reach higher if I didn't limit it via MSI Afterburner. I think I'll wait a few hours and see.
