Hi, I have unusual (according to what I could find, only one person had same issue) problem, my GPU is locked at ~50 degrees C in games, utilising 90-100% core load , which is causing low fps, it started happening week or two ago, before I could play at 63 C with maximum possible fps.

Specs :
i9900k
Gigabyte RTX 2080Ti + G12 Kraken + 360 AIO Thermaltake Water (hence low max temps on load)
32 GB RAM
Corsair GOLD 80+ 750 PSU
CRG90 so playing at 5120x1440

both CPU and GPU ran on stock clocks mem and core

I have logs from GPU-Z attached, when playing Warzone and another one when running Heaven benchmark

http://www.filehost.pt/1qfvp - Warzone
http://www.filehost.pt/1qfvq - Heaven Benchmark
http://www.filehost.pt/1qfvs - Benchmark result

I have tried DDU drivers to older, no luck, clean install of windows pro, same. Running out of ideas here, feel like it is not hardware issue since card can push harder on benchmarks, but I am no expert.

Any help is much appreciated.

Have you tried using Msi Afterburner to see if you can change the temp setting?

Yeah I did, I can run OC Scanner but result is unstable, max OC for clock is 89 and for memory 200, before that I had stable 125 and 500, then went back to stock few months later

I always had power and temp set to maximum and quite aggressive fan curve. was all working perfectly until recently.

Also noticed that running benchmarks I can achieve over 90% TDP, also in game menus, like AC Valhalla it is above 80% then it drops in game to around 60% with GPU Z perfCap VRel all the way.

I suspect something is off with VRM but I have checked card and didn't notice anything burned or out of ordinary.
Googled a lot to find anything but I guess I will have to wait for 3x to be in stock, I can still play but with lowered settings so it is not the end of the world.
