I have two options, either i can buy a rx6600 or rtx 3050. RTX 3050 costs more then the rx 6600. I wanted to know ur experience with rx6600. I have heard that it is a trash card as it crashes randomly.

Meh. This video shows mixed results. The 3050 is faster in some games in this video, in other titles the performance is comparable. I guess it depends on what games you play and if the price difference is worth it to you. Apparently AMD's FidelityFX Super Res is supported on the 6600, so I'm not sure what effect that will have on the comparison with the 3050 with DLSS turned on.

Do with it what you will..
That video is a terrible comparison though because it's showing the 3050 with DLSS on while the 6600 isn't using FSR. And FSR 1.0/2.0 works on either card. Edit - Realized this seemed a bit hostile. That was not my intention since...
No experience whatsoever, but RX6600 every day of the week. If the 6600 is trash, then the 3050 is a dumpster fire. Costs more and the performance is terrible. It shouldn't have been released as a add-in card, only for motherboard intergration on laptops and such.

Maybe there's a batch or a manufacturer that has made bad 6600's. There's no way that every single 6600 out there is bad and experiences the same crashes. If so, simply avoid those.

That didn't help in any way.

FSR will help the 6600 beat the 3050 by a decent margin and FSR 2.0 being very close in quality to DLSS means the 6600 will have even even bigger advantage over the 3050.

Get the 6600 if it's cheaper. DLSS on a 3050 isnt worth it when it just manages to match a RX 6600 using DLSS with worse image quality and not really able to run 1440p if you wanted to, like you can on the RX 6600. Neither card are going to run ray tracing well, so forget about that too. I would still try to get a 6600 XT though if you can afford it since it's faster than a 2070/3060.
