He visto que se rumorea que un rtx 3050 tiene el rendimiento de un gtx 1660s pero con rtx.
Tengo una 1660, ¿vale la pena venderla?

I have seen that an rtx 3050 is rumored to have the performance of a gtx 1660s but with rtx.
I have a 1660, is it worth selling?

To add to that a bit, the 1650 came out 7 months after the 2080, and the 1050 came out 6 months after the 1080. So, Nvidia typically takes at least half a year after a new generation comes out to launch their lower-end cards.

Also, it's very possible that if a "50" card gets raytracing, it may be priced somewhat higher, taking the place of the current 1660 cards. The 3070 is $500, so it's likely that the 3060 will be around $350-$400, like the 2060 or 2060 SUPER. So the next logical step down for a 3050 might be somewhere closer to $250 or so. If that's the case, I would expect a card in that price range to perform better than a 1660 SUPER though, probably more along the lines of the current 2060, if not faster. Nvidia will likely...
I wouldn't expect an RTX 3050 to come out for at least several months, if not longer. I wouldn't recommend selling your graphics card now, for a card that could potentially be close to half a year away, with performance and pricing that are completely unknown at this point.

Nvidia will likely release a lower-power card to take the place of the current 1650 and 1650 SUPER eventually, and that could very well get 1660 SUPER-like performance, but it will probably be a while. This is all just speculation though, as almost no information is available about these cards yet.
