Hello I have a strange problem after changing gpu. What happens is that in 4 browsers (it doesn't only happen in mozilla, even though it still has hardware acceleration) the problem happens in 3 browsers (opera, chrome and edge which also already have the acceleration turned on by default).
When I turn off the acceleration in these 3 browsers the problem stops but I would like to know if this is a problem or not. I have already reinstalled windows, changed drivers, changed monitor, cable and it did not help. When the acceleration is on, the driver freezes (running browsers) and even mentions event 141 (hardware error) but the screen flashes very briefly, it doesn't crashes chrome.
I've tested it in games like mw 2019 and I never have this problem (I've already set it to 4k maximum with 11g of vram usage and nothing wrong happens) The gpu does not exceed 70 degrees even on hot days. Could this be a gpu problem?
PC: PICHAU NIDUS 500W, TUF B360 GAMING PLUS BR (latest bios), 16GB DUAL CHANNEL CRUCIAL 2666mhz (tested as well), both hd and ssd also tested, i5 9400f, RTX 3060 GIGABYTE
I had a 1060 6gb from galax before on the same pc and it didn't artifact it. I also ran heaven and valley, without any issues

How far back did you try Geforce driver? Try 516.94 (9th of August). Use clean install function if you try it.

Also that psu. It might've been fine with 1060, but 3xxx series tend to fluctuate in power quite differently depending on use. Being an old group regulated psu design, it may very well run the card unstable at low usage.

Can you get Corsair/ SuperFlower power supplies where you are?

Hello

I actually managed to fix by doing this https://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/ans...ady-driver-461.09-or-newer,-some-desktop-apps

Although i´m quite worried about driver crashes

Could they be caused by chrome itself before the fix?

I mean , i know my PSU isn´t the best but it is also approved by TECLAB

The gpu also has a white led indicating psu issues and it never lighted up

But what psu would you recommend?

Thanks

Psu might be fine for some systems. Techpowerup describes the unit as low quality, meant for low powered systems. For yours, with a 3060, Corsair Rm650x.
Hey man sorry to bother again but i´ve read the post and did not understand much

What does my psu lacks in relation to others?

It says it is a outdated project but in what aspects?

Thank you

Discussions on that psu, plus a post i found by you in 2020. It's not a psu i would trust with a 3060.
