Hi my rtx 3060 laptop is only running at 40 to 100 fps and I find it concerning as my friend with same laptop is running at 200fps can I know what I can do to improve it

hi RAM is 8gb x 2, intel i7 , 144hz,rtx 3060 temperature is prob about 80
