[SOLVED] Rtx 3060 ti vs RX 6700 xt

I found a buyer for my gtx 1080 ti for about 660 euro and found a deal on a 6700 xt reference model for 650. There is also a 3060 ti for 620.
I am running a R5 3600.
With a 1440p display.
Looking to water cool ether card in the future.
Is one better for overclocking then the other?
Which is better for me?

Depends. They're pretty even.
I'm thinking ray tracing is not in the discussion as it would tank your performance too much with the 3060 Ti and I do like the 50% more VRAM on the 6700 XT. This would ensure that performance doesn't drop off a cliff as quickly as with the 3060 Ti, due to filling the VRAM.

Unless the game(s) you expect to play for the next two years shows clearly better performance on the 3060 Ti, I would go with the 6700 XT.

I think the 6700xt is the better card. The rx 6600xt isn’t far behind the 3060ti.

This might be helpful. It showed the 3070 vs 6700xt. The 6700 should definitely match well with the 3060 ti if not be ahead of it.
