Hello so today i got lucky and ordered a 3070 FE from best buy. can't decide build a new pc or keep my parts of current. love to game and got a 1440p 144hz monitor. he is my specs minus the PSU because its a b3 550w no way can handle a 3070 im told. wondering if there's anything anyone would upgrade cash isnt too much a issue

uhhh are you sure that's the right link. It has a 3080. If you have a 3600X, 3200mhz 16GB RAM, then keep your build its a great build perfect to pair with 3070 for 1440p.
If yiu want PSU recommendation go for corsair RM650x or RM750x if you think you might upgrade something

I agree with 1440p 120hz as a sweet spot. It's slowly moving into 4k range but I bet it wouldn't be a thing until affordable 4k 120hz.
As for PSU - it's up to you. 750W seems like a good spot as components get more efficient and use less power, unless you get dual 3090 and 5950x.

Yeah but some 30 series cards have power spiking issues. With a 3070, 650/750 is fine but with a 3090 I'd say 850

Lucky you. i need a gpu for my best friends build . cant find one anywhere for msrp.....3060 ti or 3070 . preferably 3070. could talk him into a 3080 tho.
