Hey all.

At some point this year or in the next couple months, I'm going to put an order in to possibly get an ASUS TUF RTX 3070 Triple Fan even though it might take awhile to get it.
My original plan was to go with the ASUS RTX 3070 Dual Fan, only because I'm not sure about if the ASUS TUF will have enough room to fit in my PC.
I do plan on moving from 1080p to 1440p later on. With all of that, what do you guys think and will be there any issues?

Current Specs:

NZXT S340 Elite Case
GIgabyte GTX 1070
Corsair 650W Gold Power Supply
Aorus Gaming 5 Z370 Motherboard
G.Skill 32gb Ram (8gbx4)
Hyper 212 Evo Cooler

Thanks.

Solution
The issue it's not the wattage (not the full issue at least). The RMx series are better for sure and if you can buy one and sell the RM that would be the best.
As for 750 or 850, I always prefer the higher one since you will have more headroom for any future upgrade and because it will work at better temps for the same load.

Hello there!!
You missed to mention the CPU, otherwise rest everything seems fine although if planning for RTX 3070 asus recommends 750W psu, also if you have an i5 8/9th gen consider getting an i9 9900/k and if you already have .Rock on!!

My bad, running a i7-8700k. As for ASUS recommending 750W for their graphics card, I've heard people say you need 750W, but others have said 650W should be fine if you aren't overclocking etc.

If I have to, I can always buy a 750W psu. I'd have to make sure it's the RMX series then instead of RM?

EDIT: Just looked up the prices, the RMX 850W doesn't cost that much more than the RMX 750W

Then 850W it is. So then the specs with upcoming upgrades:

NZXT S340 Elite Case
ASUS TUF RTX 3070 Triple Fan
i7-8700k CPU
AROUS Gaming 5 Z370 Mobo
Corsair RMX 850W 80+ Gold
G.Skill 32GB Ram 8gbx4
Hyper 212 EVO Cooler
