I'm playing at 1440p 144hz, and I'm planning to upgrade to one of these cards. I have a PCIE 4.0 motherboard and a 750W power supply, so I'm confident that I can support both cards, but I'm not sure which would be better for me. I'm planning to keep whichever card I get for six years, and while both of them are probably overkill for the resolution that I'm playing at, I'm not sure how well they'll hold up six years later. Should I buy the 3080 to be safe? Or is the 3070 powerful enough to last?

I also play at 1440p at 144hz atm im running a rx5700xt and it doesn't quite hack it. Was thinking of selling it and going to rtx3070 however I got a 650 gold psu... However the TDP power consumption of 3070 is reported to be 220 which is lower than my rx5700xt so I should be good right?

The most important part when considering a high end GPU is the power supply. What is the brand/model/age of your 750W PSU?
