Hello guys! It’s my first time building a PC, so I’m a rookie. I want to buy a Gainward RTX 3070 Phoenix GS 8GB and I want to put it vertically in a ThermalTake View 71. The GPU specifications says that it connects with PCI Express x16 4.0, but I only found in my country (Romania) Riser cables with 3.0. I want to buy Thermaltake Gaming Riser Cable PCI-E 3.0 x16, which is also only 200mm length. Firstly, the length is enough? Considering I will have a motherboard with 2 PCI-E slots (Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Pro) and I put it on the lower slot, is 200mm going to be enough? And secondly, will the riser cable affect the RTX 3070 performance? I ask this because it’s 3.0 while the GPU is 4.0. Thanks a lot for your support! I know this may be hard for you, it’s not any problem if you don’t know! If you need any more information, feel free to ask and I will answer as soon as I can! Have a nice day!
