Hello,
I hope everyone is doing well today. I kindly ask for your assistance because my PC is running a few games at incredibly low frame rates compared to an RTX 3080. I'm not an expert on pcs, so that's why I'm here, but I think my CPU might be the bottleneck in my system. Any response, please, would be helpful.

Should I switch to an i9?

PC spec :

GPU : RTX 3080 12GB.

CPU : Processor 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-12600K, 3700 Mhz, 10 Core(s), 16 Logical Processor(s).

Motherboard : BaseBoard Product TUF GAMING B660-PLUS WIFI D4.

RAM : 32GB.

Windows 10 !

playing on resolution 1080p

Kindly excuse any grammar mistakes. English is not my native tongue.

.

It is safe. You can wait for others to say the same, also. It's good to be cautious.
This is the outcome:

UserBenchmarks: Game 8%, Desk 72%, Work 9%
CPU: Intel Core i5-12600K - 84.4%
GPU: Intel UHD Graphics 770 - 4.2%
SSD: Kingston SSDNow UV400 240GB - 56.2%
HDD: WD Blue 1TB (2012) - 85.8%
RAM: Corsair CMH32GX4M2D3600C18 2x16GB - 46.9%
MBD: Asus TUF GAMING B660-PLUS WIFI D4

is it correct?

It gives you an option at the end to share a link. That's what we need.

Actually, connect monitor to 3080 and NOT the motherboard..

I can tell my PC performing much better than before, but I think this is because I'm playing in 1080p while my graphics card was designed for 2K or higher resolutions (Maybe). I'm not sure why I can't get my GPU usage at least 90% ( for same games )
@1080p you are likely being CPU limited. A 3080 is currently kinda overkill 1080p.

But your CX750m is not a good option for a 3080. If you do make a change that pushes the card harder(best option imho would be a 1440p monitor) then good chance its transient spike will trip the PSUs protections.

So I should replace my power supply and buy a new monitor with a resolution of at least 2K?

I can do that, but what power supply do you suggest for my computer?
