hey all I am having a weird issue with my MSI GeForce RTX 3080
Normally I get idle temps that are anywhere between 30-42 degrees c depending on what my room temperature is. I would always keep my gpu fan speed at 0 when I wasnt gaming and just using my computer.
But now at idle speeds my gpu hits 50-60 degrees c at idle. with no different programs running in the background then I have for years. I put the fan speed at 100% and it hits 30-35 degrees. gpu usage at 2% on afterburner during this
While gaming I always run my gpu fans at 100% and before this idle temp spike and after it started my gpu hits temps between 50-60 degrees while gaming, example being RDR2.
Its summer so my room temp with the AC is about 72-75 depending on what i set it, but it has been this way for weeks now and my idle temps werent affected before.
I noticed this once I updated to the new geforce driver 536.67. So I rolled back my driver to the previous 536.40 driver and it still is happening. Idle temps at 50-60 degrees.
I took the card out and gave it a good de-dusting but it didnt really have dust on it in the first place.
Any ideas?
