Recently I have been having issues where after a pretty long day using my pc, the screens will go black/ into standby but the fans and rgb will remain spinning and on. When looking at temps my cpu stays at around 80 degrees and the main gpu temp is about 78. The GPU Memory Junction temp is worse however and stays at a constant 100-102 degrees while under load with the hot spot being 97. Is this a problem? Is this black screen issue likely due to overheating?

A temperature gap of approximately 20C or lower, is a typical gap between the gpu core and hot spot, so that field is ok.
The memory, on the other hand, is running toasty. 105C is the limit.

Has this card been opened up before?
I Think there is probably a pretty good chance it has been opened up but I bought the card used so I cant be 100% certain , it did have some kind of dirt or grime on the inside when I first got it but I didn't think too much of it as stress tests showed the expected performance and no temp issues, although these tests only ran for about half an hour. There are also two wires that are not routed correctly just above where it says SUPRIM on the side of the card. I have had the card for over a year now and this is the first time anything like this has started happening

Some models did memory cooling a fair bit worse than others. I don't believe the Suprim was one of the bad apples.

Half an hour is enough time for heat soak.

Unless those wires are running between one of the memory chips, they shouldn't be a problem.

Since this is a recent thing, what comes to mind is dust or gpu sag.
Are you keeping up with cleaning, and is the gpu being held up with anything?
