Question RTX 3080 or RTX 3090 for 1440p ?

Hello everyone,

So I recently just purchased an RTX 3080 12gb from a retailer for $799. After purchasing, I find a posting from someone selling a brand new sealed and unopened RTX 3090 EVGA FTW3 Ultra for only $40 more than what I paid.

Is it worth it in your opinions to return the RTX 3080 and buy the RTX 3090 for $40 more? My only concern obviously is that if I get the RTX 3090 from the seller, I won't be able to return if anything happens, but I assume that warranty would still work even if I don't have the original receipt.

Yes and he already has a 3080 so in my opinion if OP doesnt need the huge 24 GB memory (how i did, i got the 3090 for the memory) then he should keep the 3080.

There was never a question about that for me and I never said to go with the 3090. Naturally, if you already have the card and no issues with it, keep it.
