[SOLVED] RTX 3080 Ti will be close to the performance of the RTX 3090?

Solution
Basically three proposed, rumored, configurations.

An RTX3080 with 20GB of VRAM (Not likely, would really eat into RTX3090 sales)
An inbetween 10240 core GA102 with 12GB of VRAM
An RTX3090 full core count (10496) with only 12GB of VRAM.

And there could be many sub configurations like less cache, less TMUs, less ROPs, or a change in RT or Tensor core count.

Apart from VRAM if you actually need it the gap between the 3080 and 3090 is actually quite small already. As a gamer with a 3080 I don’t need the extra VRAM and don’t feel like I am missing any meaningful performance. The 3080Ti confuses me as how it will squeeze into such a small gap in the line up.

like the 780ti before it, likely just a smaller amount of memory but this time perhaps on a on a smaller memory bus?
