Question RTX 3090 - loosing display signal, GPU core & Memory drops to 0 ?

Oct 28, 2012
Hi, 12 hrs. ago I started experiencing this where in my display would loose signal upon idling , playing a game, run NiceHash etc. MSI Gaming X Trio RTX 3090

Initially when the display would loose signal the GPU fans would blow at full speed & I have to do a hard reboot. It would come back up and as mentioned above this behavior would appear randomly sometimes at 5 mins sometimes at 20 mins for sure when running Nicehash.

Uninstalled everything that interacts with GPU - Nicehash, Afterburner, mobo utilities, DDU -drivers.

Reinstalled drivers - Played a game for 90 mins worked fine (Fallout New Vegas - not demanding) Started NiceHash & started to run benchmark (NBMiner - DAG) same issue. I have been monitoring the situation with HW Info & below is a screenshot from HWINFO - Temps are in control, GPU fans are spinning, power is available.

I rebooted the system & started playing Fallout New Vegas, watching Videos and the system is stable for the last 4 hours. I'm going to play a VR game sometime later.

As you can see in the attached screenshot GPU and Memory Core drops to 0 after 100% load after a few mins. This is when running NiceHash. Didn't see any other anomalies. I can link the whole file if need be.

I have been using this card for 4 months - Work / Gaming / Mining, no changes to software or Hardware were made, Mem temps have always been kept below 95 C
