Hello,

so I went to install my new card today and it won’t turn on.
I have a Corsair HX750 PSU
2 8 pins connected to PSU and then 2 6+2 PCI connected to the GPU.
both cables work perfectly fine with my GTX 1080 when I put the old card back in.
When insert my 1080 to the GPU slot it has an led that lights up but when I put the 3090 in there are no lights.
what am I doing wrong?
I have 32gb of ram as well… compatibility wise there should be no issue

Hmm, shouldn't have done anything particularly wrong, unless you got a lemon - it happens.

Do the small LEDs above the 3090's 2 8pin sockets light up at all when you try to power the PC on? Example:
iu

Does your motherboard have a second PCIe slot? Try it that one and see if it is picked up. If that works, you should then be able to install it in the primary again.

No the lights do not light up when I plug it into the slot.
my GTX 1080 lights up when I do tho so there is no way it’s a bad slot.
