Hi, everyone. I hope you're having a great day.

Recently I bought an Inno3D RTX 4060 8Gb video card for a relatively low price and I decided to sell it. But since economy isn't really great in my country, demand seems to be very low and not a lot of people are interested.

So I'm considering to use the GPU for myself. But theres a problem.
PSU wattage recommendation for this GPU is 550, but I only have 520 80 plus bronze PSU. I also checked online sources to calculate the needed wattage and got 500 W

Here are my current pc specs

Core i5 10400f
16 gb ddr4
1 tb 7200 rpm hdd
520w seasonic 80 plus bronze (pic added)
GTX 1050ti

Using PC in high performance

How safe it would be? Any chance of frying my PC parts if I change my GPU?

How are you getting 500 watts needed, nore like 300 would be the TDP of your PC with the 4060.

The 4060 is only adding about 40 watts.

Edit your PSU is a older platform but I would use it and not worry about it.
