Nvidia can't allow gamers to play 4K with a lowly mid range 70 series, hence the VRAM cap. Heck many games, like the ones you mentioned, demand more than 12GB even at 1440p so its really IMO not a smart buy when you have the 6800XT costing much less. Now you have the SUPER noty smarty buy coming January lol. The only ones to blame are buyers though, it's their fault for not researching.

It's a sad day when a 3 year old 6800XT can still beat most of of the latest Nvidia's GPUs in its class (and even higher) and for less money too.

I hope that the power requirement for the 4070 Super isn't going to be greater than the 4070. One of the selling points of the 4070 is that it's a drop in upgrade for people who don't also want to have to upgrade their power supply, or mess around with the melty, 24 pin power connector.

While doing my research for the RTX 4070Ti Super, I have discovered that there will not be an FE version for this GPU. Seems odd. The FE version would have been my selection on January 17. The 4080 versions do offer FE . WTF?
