Hi!

I've got a RTX 4070 Ti SUPER EX Gamer OC V2, and I've some issues trying to increase the power limit both in the MSI Afterburner and in KFA2's software (Xtreme Turner). It's seems there is not option to increase the power limit over 100%, but I watched different reviews when they said it's possible. Any idea about what's happening? Attached two screenshots, one per software.

Thank you!!!!

Here's my system configuration:

Ryzen 5 7600 X
Asus Tuf Gaming B650-plus
MSI MSG A850G PCI Express 5.0
RTX 4070 Ti SUPER EX Gamer OC V2 graphics card
Samsung 970 EVO M.2
32 Gb RAM DDR5

I just want to test if its possible to overclock the graphics card to obtain more stable FPS in Ghosts of Tsushima with DLSS in balanced.

Why do you want to "Super overclock"?

Is there a specific reason or requirement to "Super overclock"?

What specific, measureable benefits are expected?

Overall it is unlikely that much will be gained and, even if so, the system is likely to suffer in the long run.

Update your post to include full system hardware specs and OS information.

Include PSU and drive configurations.

What apps or games are being run?

What level of ISP/internet service (speeds) do you get?

More information needed.

I updated the post with more info. Thank you!

What wattage is it running at under load?

The reason I ask is that the vBIOS on that card may already be at an elevated power level. The card I'm using runs up to 400W at 100% which is 80W above 3080 stock. The 4070 Ti Super should be ~285W under load for power draw at stock.

Fair enough. Simply keep in mind that there are two underlying questions.

1) Can it be tested in one way or another? That answer is yes.

2) Can it be tested with little or no risk to the host system? That answer is probably yes but is truly TBD.

Overclocking should be done in small, controlled increments. Making only one change at a time and allowing time between changes. While keeping a close eye on the system - especially temperatures.

There are both risks and benefits. Overall though, full disclosure, I have doubts about the true benefits.

Beyond the above, I will defer to the overclocking folks in this community.
