I just switch from a liquid devil rx 6950 xt to an Asus RTX 4080 OC. Right now, temps are good, the card is stable and very good while gaming. But i bought a Corsair Hydro X Series XG7 water block in advance but i had to uninstall the entire custom loop to fit the card in my case to test it before making the switch of cooler. But now i dont know if stay with the stock cooler or put the water block and install the custom loop again.

Before with the RX6950 XT

Now with all the water system out, I'm using a cheap AIO for the CPU until i decide what to do. If i stay with stock cooler I'm thinking to go with AIO NZXT Kraken 360.

Custom loop will offer cooler temps and look a bit neater. Other than that its personal preference and a question of if the time and effort required for the installation is process is worth it in your opinion for marginal gain in temperature.

If it runs cool and quiet now there are really no issues other than looks if you happen to care about them.
