News RTX 5090 gaming laptops listed overseas starting at $3,780

Glad I got a '4090' lappy (cough down-clocked 4080 cough cough) last fall on sale. If desktop is anything to go by, I won't be missing much besides a little vram and 10% performance. I hope Nvidia continues to fix their laptop vram issues this gen even if they haven't on desktop. It is nice to see the 5090 laptop gpu get 24GB regardless. I was not thrilled at 16GB of Vram on a flagship device but on 1440P I should last another gen before it starts becoming an issue. Nvidia needs to start giving us more VRAM as things are getting stoopid bad in the low to high end only serving flagships with decent amounts.

But but but .... you will miss out on the all too important multi frame generation...

Jokes aside, the RTX 5xxx itself is a joke. Jensen should have launched it on April 1st. Barring the RTX 5090, the rest of the series are going to see meaningless improvement in performance. On a laptop where the hardware are power and thermal limited, I feel the performance gain is even more intangible without resorting to software.

It pretty close to fraud when Nvidia uses the same names for their laptop and desktop versions. That they have been doing so for years only makes it a repeat offense.

Those less in the know are likely to equate a desktop and a laptop since they share the same name, it is really rotten of Nvidia. I imagine parents buying a laptop for a gamer in the family, thinking they are buying something great as they have hard 5090 is it:rage:

Guys, it's a great Brand. I know it because i'm using one laptop that i bought from them one year ago.

I'm from Greece and i was looking a VFM Gaming Laptop that i can have good performance and it will be as budget as possible. I found RG4060-17EU36 with 17", NVIDIA RTX 4060 and i7-14700HX, 32GB RAM and 1 TB SSD and at the moment that i bought it was costing around 1600 €.

Amazing that are offering the 5000 series with AMD R9 9955HX3D, i will consider it!!!
