Question RTX GeForce 4070 TI vs RTX 5070 (is non-TI 5070 really going to be better or not the case?)

Good day, hoping some would be able to shed some light on this matter as i'm facing a dilemma here with all these recent RTX 5070 news of pricing etc... and although it might still be early days to be able to tell for sure until we see VODs of comparisons and such, maybe some of you would already have a clue...

I got RTX GeForce 4070 TI as part of pre-built PC purchased on sale 2 or so years ago. Below are full PC specs:

Intel Core i7 13th Gen 13700KF (3.40GHz) / 32GB DDR5 / 2 TB PCIe SSD / NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti / Windows 11 Pro 64-bit"

Current Storage: 2 TB M.2 NVMe SSD + 3 TB HDD
PC: Chip: Intel Core i7 13th Gen 13700KF (3.40GHz)
RAM: 4x8 GB = 32GB DDR5 - ADATA XPG GAMMIX D10 32GB DDR5 4800Mhz CL40 1.1V AX5U4800C408G-BB10
Motherboard: MSI PRO Z790-P WIFI - https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/PRO-Z790-P-WIFI
PSU: Corsair 850W 80 Gold


I play competitive shooters and single player titles and don't think I need to change my card just yet as most games can still run at highest settings with my 4070 TI, although I sometimes don't even keep them on highest even though I could...

Therefore I wonder is there really a benefit and gain in graphics' + performance wise for single player titles and FPS wise for competitive shooters such as Counter-Strike 2 if I was to upgrade to an RTX 5070 (non-TI version) over my existing 4070 TI or there would really not be a big difference? I'm guessing 5070 TI would have a significant difference, but I just wonder if it would make sense to still get 5070 non-TI over 4070 TI.

I'm confused because according to this 4070 TI vs 5070 comparison here it seems like I might as well keep 4070 TI

but not sure if I could trust those results, but the released VOD said that 5070 would even be better than 4090, so I would think that 5070 non TI would be much better than 4070 TI, but im not good at it, so not sure.

Also, would my current PSU: Corsair 850W 80 Gold be sufficient for any 5000 card i.e. 5070, 5070TI, 5080, 5090? If I was to get a 5070, 5080, would my current psu be sufficient for it to run smoothly or a PSU upgrade would also be needed for like 5080, 5090?

Would appreciate the knowledge you folks have to date...

Wouldn't worry about this right now, wait for benchmarks. Rtx 5 series is going to milk dlss, dlss 4 when supported in titles 'can' be as fast or faster than 4090. Will cs2 gain dlss 4 support? That's the thing isn't it. Without dlss, we'll see how 5070 actually compares when reviewers test without.

First off that link doesn't hold any benchmarking numbers. I would wait for reviews to surface since it's a long term practice of every brand to use cherry picked numbers or data to help make their product look great in the consumers eyes.

Second, generationally, if you were on say, an RTX2000series, I'd have suggested going with the RTX5000 series but a mere RTX4070Ti to RTX5070 jump is moot IMO.

Sit tight and let the data trickle(or rain) through then make an educated/informed purchase.
