I want to spend somewhere around $500 on my birthday later this month and I want to know what would be the best investment.

For record, I already own a gaming PC with i5 9400f GTX 1060 12GB RAM 2666hz (will upgrade soon) and SSDs. I also own a PS4

I just want to let you know, I hardly used my PS4 in last three years, I played Uncharted Lost Legacy, A bit of Horizon Zero Dawn, and bought Tekken PUBG which I stopped playing after a month (since my PS plus expired). The reason behind it was simple, at first I did not have money to buy games (they are very expensive for my region Poland) and secondly I did not play the games that even had on it because I did not want to pay for this PS Plus. Although I was taking subscription of PS NOw time to time and played until dawn, spiderman, god of war via ps now, but overall, I played more on my pc than PS4 in last three years.

PC Steam and epic store comes with great discounts etc which was good for me.

Now I don't have any Idea what to buy, a next gen console or an RTX 3070.

I stream on youtube after my day job and have plans to focus more on it and grow it asap.

I now can also buy games more often since I am workingg now

Please tell me what should I buy, I do not have a 4k monitor/tv yet, but soon after the purchase of GPU or console I will buy that also, for up to 144hz and 2.5/4k.

But now my biggest question is whether to buy a GPU or console. I gave whole story because I know pc games are dirt cheap at times where on other hand, console gamers still mostly spend full amount on their games, console games are more optimized this is another thing I am aware of and if series x and ps5 will give 60/144 FPS on 4k, It's like buying a machine capable of RTX 3070 performance.

I don't know help me people. May be this thread will help many others like me.

I'd recommend the 3070 since you're going to be streaming and planning on expanding your channel. Plus the 3070 will be an absolute BEAST that should be capable of 4k 60fps streaming. your cpu bottleneck would be around 5% at 1440p and negligible at 4k. on the other hand a console is also coolio, but since you can play 90% of console games on pc and you even have games that are cross platform computer seems quite appealing. You can even have the xbox app on your computer. Although next gen console is also quite cooooool. My dad's planning on getting the xbox series x, which I'm quite excited about since I'm gonna be getting his xbox one x lol. It's really up to you, but if it were meee I'd go for that gpu. Although I'm a computer type of guy.

Hi thanks for the reply bro, I'm thinking the same, my first plan was for gpu only. But i also know that if i will put ps5 or series z videos my channel will cost quickly. That depends on my content too. But ya keeping that channel and YouTube a side for my gaming, I'm getting a little greedy for console especially PS5 it will have great titles etc. But i know all these titles will be super expensive and for sure i won't be able to play then at the beginning anyway. Then why i would not but gpu and wait for those titles to come in ps now so that i can play then, another thing is xbox, i honestly like the specs but only specs it does not have any experience games much, and i can play most of the games on pc via gamepass so no. May be gpu is a good idea, i can buy a console later may be.
