Can I use a 12 pin connector connected to the psu and the 2x 8 pin connect to the gpu and then add a mother single 8 pin to the gpu? The evga 3090 use 3x 8pin connector. This is wat I brought.

I've never seen these before, but that i what is says it does for Nvidia 3xxx series GPUs.
Threre are some cards that require 3 x8 and so this isnt going to work properly for those

Founders edition come with a 12pin to 2x8pin adapter in the box. Those only require that and nothing else. The rest of the 3090s DO NOT use the 12pin at all. So you will only need 2 or 3 8pins depending on the model.

What exact psu do you have? Please include make, model and wattage.

I got evga 3090 ftw and zotac 3090 holo amp core. I opened the evga ftw 3090 and saw that it didn’t come with the cable so I didn’t open the other 3090. It’s been a few years and the current graphic card I’m using is gtx970. So I’m better off to just order 3x 8pin better

Wait, you own 2 3090s and want to put both in?
Please explain what you want to do because I am afraid the PSU won't be enough for what you want to do. Also PSU cables are not universal, not even within the same manufacturer so I would make sure that I get the right ones.

The item you ordered seems to NOT be compatible with your PSU. You need to order from a site that specifically says that your EXACT model of PSU is supported.

On another note, if you are planning to use 2 3090s for gaming using SLI I would advise against it.
SLI is dead, not supported by the crushing majority of games and the ones that tried 2 3090s have either no gains or worse performance. You would be far better selling the second 3090 or use it in another system.
If you plan to use them for other workloads instead, it's another story and I really don't know if it does benefit you (I guess it does).
