I'm trying to figure out what I am doing wrong keeping my cpu cool. The temperature of the cpu is rubber banding up and down regardless of the pump or fan speed of my cooling system, now it never goes above 53C but the rubber banding is annoying as it forces me to manually set my cooling speeds as the up and down temps mess with my auto setting. Whether its the cpu, cooling, or clock I cant figure out.
Specs
AMD FX 8350
Voltage 1.44 give or take a little, with medium loadline cal
22x multi
220 Bus
HT Link 2788
I know thats odd but its the only way I got close to 4.8GHz at a stable clock.
I am using a refurbished NZXT Kraken x41 with an extra fan on the 140mm radiator for a push pull config, didnt feel I was getting enough airflow with just one. Actually still dont feel I am getting enough airflow as the liquid temp usually doesnt drop past 38c.
Is there something anyone can see im doing wrong? I'm kinda getting a trial by fire with overclocking.
