Few months ago I wanted to make a USB drive bootable to install Windows XP.I used program called Rufus to make bootable Live USB.

The making of Live USB was completed,I restarted and nothing happened.

After restart, I went to my Computer and I found that my USB which was plugged in was not detected.

I found out that alot of other people had problems with Rufus. My USB is detected, but as an removable drive with no media on it. "Insert Disk into removable device"

How do I fix this ?

It does show up in Devices and Printers as TDK Trans It Drive, and Trans It Drive in Device Manager.
I cannot format it, cannot add a letter or path, cannot create partition in CMD or anything else

Please help !.

Solution
A "No media in drive" error for a flash drive is typical of a hardware failure.
Flash drives are not everlasting and, depending on your luck, they can fail early and regardless of the application that was used to access it. When a Hard Drive fails, which can also happen at any time, you don't go "Windows (or Linux, or OS X) damaged my HDD!".

The author also explains why it is very unlikely that Rufus was the cause of the damage, because formatting a drive is really no different than just writing regular data to it:

It just seems that you were unlucky and your drive failed when you were using Rufus. If the drive is still under warranty, you should contact...

Solution
I appreciate Yogi and mironso for trying to help, but the USB was simply, not detected.

Unfortunately , I got the USB on my birthday, so, there is no warrant from TDK.
