I liked the original series but I have doubts about this. Having Metro on every screen and WinRT tablets in abundance would ruin it for me.

I rewatched the original series recently and before watching I remembered it fondly, afterwards I thought it was crap - if they remake it please do as good a job as BSG or the ghost of shitty BBC will ruin it

While a modern remake of Blakes 7 has potential, I'm not sure the Microsoft execs could resist shoving nasty Metro on every surface of the spacecraft (see what I did there?). Zen would offer to download Microsoft Apps, etc.
I liked the original when I was a child; going back and looking at it now is a horrid experience.

It's great if Microsoft funds TV series, except if Microsoft attempts to make them Xbox exclusive then I hope we will all be united in bankrupting Microsoft once and for all.
