Run CT25664AA1067 at 1066

I have 4 of these: http://www.crucial.com/store/partspecs.aspx?IMODULE=CT25664AA1067 and I would like to run it, as advertised, as PC2-8500 at 1066. Cpuz reports the following:
Jedec#1 333
Jedec#2 400
Jedec#3 555
There is no 533!!! How is this memory supposed to run 1066/PC2-8500 then? Or, more practically, can it run at 1066? What timings should I try?

If not running at 1066, manually set the freq, base timings to spec along with the DRAM voltage and should be fine

If I set everything to auto it runs at 800 - no problem. If manually set the freq to 533 leaving everything else auto Windows freezes after half a minute. As you've said, I have to set the proper timings, but how shoul I know them since there is no jedec 533?

I've tried to use the timings from 555 - no luck.

The DRAM voltage should be 1.8 try at 1.85 and raise the MC voltage a tad - don't know what you have, so if Intel based, guessing it's a 775 which is prob the NB voltage - raise it + 0.06, if an AMD rig, it's prob the CPU/NB voltage try raising that + 0.075

Thanks for the advise! You mean I should use the timings from jedec 555? 7-8-8-25-33?
The mb is http://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/M3A-GLAN/ with am2+ 9550 x4 phenom cpu.
I'll try to increase the voltage.

So far it runs ok at 800 with everything set to auto:

Might try a pinch more voltage or it just might not be able to run at that

No luck 🙁 RMA.
A weird observation: it is much more stable in Unganged then in Ganged mode.

Hi darwinjob,

Check your motherboard specifications for DIMM modules per channel....
How many you can install.
I have the same memory but my motherboard supports only 1 DIMM per channel at 1066Mhz.
So in my case there is no chance to boost it up to the 1066Mhz only 800Mhz.
And one more downside of this memory,that you can't increase the voltage,otherwise you kill it.
