Run Gtx 750ti in PCI E 2.0

Can I run my gpu GTX 750ti on PCI E 2.0. Or I have to invest on buying a new motherboard that has PCI E 3.0.
OR is there can be a converter that allows my Gpu to play on 2.0 board??

I have a secondary rig running a 750 ti w pci e 2.0 and it runs just fine. 3.0 is wider and faster but you won't be missing much unless you were to get something like a 980 or a titan. Simply put it will put your 750 to work just fine!

PCI-E 3.0 is backwards compatible with PCI-E 2.0.
You can use this card in your current motherboard.
You'll have no performance loss with the GTX 750 Ti or even much faster cards in a PCI-E 2.0 x16 slot.

It turns out, even in tri SLI GTX 980, PCI E 3.0 isn't even fully utilized. The only cards that do though are the R9s bridgeless Crossfire.

Yes, you can run a 750 ti on PCi-e 2.0, wont make any difference.

just an analogy.

it's like worrying that the road speed limit has been decreased from 200mph (let's say this is pcie 3.0) down to 100mph (this is pcie 2.0)
while all the while your car can only go 50mph max
