Is there any way to do this and get 60 fps on my computer?

I'm using a GTX 780, i5 4570 and 16 GB RAM

I know the game calls for a 1080, but I figured turn some settings down and the frame rate should go up. I tried low settings at 4K, still got 30 frames. So it seems it doesn't seem to matter if I do 4K Ultra or 4K Low, I still get 30 fps.

1080p gives me 60
1440p gives me 30 (I think my TV only accepts 30 fps at 1440p for some reason since F1 2016 was the same)

Solution
I believe this is a feature that needs to be manually enabled and causes color losses due to removing some colors from the datastream to increase the bandwidth available to allow it to push out more framerates.

The port on the TV are listed as HDMI 2.0a on the manufacturer's website. The GPU is 1.4 though, but it can do 4K60 in Rocket League so it can output a 60 Hz 4K signal

Really? I remember reading Nvidia had done something to achieve 4K60 with their 1.4 cards. I get 60 in menus and online warm up, but go into a match, best I get is 45.

Edit: Seem to be getting 50 to 60 now according to shadowplay. I'll check the game's own counter to make sure. Game reports 60 in some areas

Either way, I'll get a 1080 Ti at some point, they're too expensive atm
