Hi I've got a problem I've never seen before, but I hope one of you lot in here have. I've recently had to do a re-install of my OS which is Win98 SE, I've noticed though that I have got two Run32dll.exe's running in the task manager and it also wants to get internet access?

At the moment Zone Alarm is holding it back from getting online, I hope someone knows whats going on because all I can think of that would or could do this is a Trojan of some kind, even though it shows up clean on the virus scan and I can only find one Rundll32.exe in a file search.

I encountered this also before when I was using ZoneAlarm Pro, tendency is that I will terminate one of them from the task manager but eventually another one will appear again after a while. Might be ZoneAlarm Pro is behind this. Anyway, I uninstalled ZA Pro and installed NIS 2001 3.0 instead and the problem was fixed. Cheers...

NIS 2001 3.0 is Norton Internet Security 2001 3.0 , I'm using the Family Edition which has the Ad Blocking and Parental Control. Cheers...

THIS IS YOUR PC TECHNICIAN

THIS IS NOT A VIRUS OF ANY KIND.
THE RUNDLL32.EXE PROGRAM IS NECESSARY TO "RUN" PROGRAMS. CHECK MSCONFIG IN YOUR SYSTEM. CLICK ON THE STARTUP TAB, OR THE WIN.INI TAB. IF YOUR MONITOR SHOWS RUN=, UNCHECK IT.
