I think my rundll32 may be corrupt??
does anyone here know why the rundll32.dll icon in systems32 looks blank as
compared to the other dll icons??
is this where it should live..
i think it may be connected to my computer hanging at shutdown..

You can install xp cd,exit the info page,go to run,type:cmd In cmd type:
Sfc /Scannow When the graph stops,type:CHKDSK C: /F Agree to restart,
then type:EXIT Restart computer,remove cd.Also,run the DOS window in
min.,sometimes the graph runs behind it.

rundll32.exe lives in C:\WINDOWS\system32 and C:\WINDOWS\system32\dllcache.
Both of my rundll32.exe icons look like a blue piece of paper with the upper
right hand corner dogeared.

Are you getting rundll errors? Any errors in the Event Viewer?

Most rundll errors are related to spyware/scumware.
