Hey guys,

I run a Ati 5850 but I recently came upon a an old 7600 gs.

I was wondering whether it would be worth it to put the old nvidia card into my system and having it dedicated to something like physics.

Solution
A 7600GS is a relatively weak card nowadays. I would say it's performance is a little better than a Radeon HD 4650. That would be roughly comparable to something between a Radeon HD 5550 and Radeon HD 5570.

You cant use Physx on a 7600 gs because there are no cuda cores in the 7 series. The 8 series and above can only support physx. and on top of that you need a lucid hydra motherboard to even install two sets of drivers from nvidia and ATI at the same time.
