Looking to improve some of my monitors on my PC, specifically to a 32-34" with 144 to 165hz refresh on 1 and 32-34" 4k on another with an old 24" 60hz on the side for peripherals.
The plan is to stream and watch movies on the 4K while playing games on the High refresh rate monitor and the small one is for the usual peripherals.

Will the GPU (Asus ROG Strix 3080 if it ever arrives) support this or will it default the monitors to a generic refresh rate? If it does work can I expect great quality in picture or will there be flashing and/or tearing?

AMD Ryzen 7 3700x
Asus ROG Strix X570-E MB
Asus ROG Strix RTX 3080
128gb Corsair Vengeance Pro Ram
850W corsair power supply (once I exchange the 750W I bought)

Thanks any and all help

i run 3 1080p monitors. 144hz, 120hz and 60hz and each runs at its native refresh rate.

keep in mind that i don't try to watch a movie, play a game and have other stuff open all at the same time.

if i'm watching a movie, that's what i doing. when gaming, i focus on that and so on. no clue what would happen if i tried all 3 at once :)

I'm running an RTX 3080 with three monitors:

1 x Gigabyte G27Q, 1440P, 144Hz, G-Sync compatible (D-Port)
1 x Dell P2719H, 1080P, 60Hz (D-Port)
1 x Dell U2419H, 1080P (HDMI)

With Windows 10, I can easily have different resolutions, orientations and refresh rates on all three.

I use the Gigabyte for gaming as it's G-Sync compatible and I don't get any tearing.

Hope this helps!

I think I am going to get the LG 32" 144hz G-sync monitor for gaming the G Sync should be the best option for 3080 GPU if it ever comes in (ordered over a month ago). Not sure what to get for the movie probably something 4k in the 32 inch size.
